Dominik Stelzner
Dominik Stelzner is a self-taught abstract painter and digital artist who seamlessly blends traditional techniques with contemporary visual languages. With a background in graphic design and 3D visualization, Stelzner’s work stands at the intersection of digital creation and expressive, emotional fine art.
After completing his training as a graphic designer (2005–2008) and earning his technical diploma in design (2008–2010), Stelzner pursued a diploma in 3D visualization, graduating as a Digital Artist in 2014. He worked for several years in the design industry, but found it creatively unfulfilling. In 2019, a pivotal moment came when his department was shut down — prompting him to fully embrace his artistic instincts and begin a new path as an independent artist.
Stelzner's artistic journey began with acrylic painting, a medium that immediately became a passionate outlet alongside his musical interests. Driven by emotion and intuition, he seeks to evoke deep feelings and stimulate the imagination of the viewer — both visually and conceptually.
In his current work, Stelzner merges his digital expertise with the spontaneity and texture of abstract painting, crafting hybrid pieces that challenge the boundaries between analog and digital media. His compositions reflect a modern vision that brings together the aesthetic clarity of design with the layered depth of painterly expression. The result is a body of work that explores the emotional range of color, form, and narrative abstraction in both virtual and physical forms.
